If you're new to Linux and want to find out how to use the fastest growing operating system today, all you have to do is take our beginner's course and you'll be ready to go! If you're already an experienced Linux user and want to get more power out of your system, we also offer an intermediate level course. This higher level course is geared toward those who want to learn more about Linux system administration

Linux Online's course are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and so you can access this page whenever you like. Feel free to do the lessons as quickly or as slowly as you like - as many times as you want.
A Linux Online certificate program is also in the works. We are working on adding tests and evaluations to the existing lessons. We will be announcing more details about this in the future.

Linux gets reseller friendly
For VARs and integrators this means that they'll have a one-stop Web site and distributor to pick up Linux, and open-source content management systems, databases, business intelligence, network authentication, backup and recovery, e-mail, etc., etc., etc. For business users, especially those with small in-house IT staffs, this means they can just go to their local channel partner and get their pick of some of the top commercially-supported open-source programs.
Linux will do well from the recession
The research firm also predicted that by 2012 Linux and "alternative operating systems" (OSes) will overtake Microsoft's Windows XP in netbook sales. 'Open source learning increase in Dutch vocational schools.
The Dutch ministries of Economic Affairs (EZ) and Education, Culture & Science (OCW) find it undesirable that students in the secondary vocational education system (MBO) are only being taught to use closed software systems from a few companies. Current ICT courses within the MBO schools have now started to pay attention to open source material. Heemskerk writes that they are negotiating with Novell on free support for the open source operating system Linux within the MBO schools.
